Abstracts & Registration
Attendees may present their research as a paper or poster presentation at the symposium. Each paper or poster presentation at any of the IPS symposia must have at least one IPS member among its authors. The symposia are open to non-members. Please see below for key dates, as well as information about abstract submission, registration, and opportunities to apply for the IPS-Heidelberg Award and IPS Travel Grant.

Abstract Submission
Abstract submission for the IPS 2024 meeting is now open.
Please read the Guidelines for Abstracts before preparing and submitting your abstract. Abstracts should be completed on the Abstract Submission Form and submitted as a Microsoft Word (.docx) file. Details of how to submit your abstract can be found within the Guidelines for Abstracts document and the Abstract Submission form.
Incomplete abstracts or those which do not conform to the guidelines will not be accepted for presentation.
Please note that in addition to paper presentations, a dedicated ARVO-style poster presentation session will be scheduled in the IPS 2024 programme.

Delegates in training may apply for an IPS travel grant following abstract submission. Further details on the application process are available below.
IPS-Heidelberg Award
At the IPS 2024 meeting, Heidelberg Engineering GmbH have generously agreed to offer the IPS-Heidelberg Award. If you would like for your abstract to be considered for the award, please complete the application form below.
Please review the scope and eligibility criteria for the award before applying. To apply for the award, download the IPS-Heidelberg Award application form and email the completed application along with attachments directly to the IPS Secretary (details within the form)
Applications must be received by 7th March 2024 (23:59 GMT) in order to be considered for the award.
IPS Travel Grants
IPS Members in training and non-members in training may apply for an IPS travel grant. Please view the IPS Travel Grant Guidelines for details of eligibility and how to apply.

Registration
All delegates must register in order to attend and participate in the IPS 2024 meeting.
The deadline for early-bird registration is the 19th April 2024 (23:59 BST).

Terms & Conditions:
All fees are in GB£ and are non-refundable
Registration fees include admittance to all conference sessions, refreshments, lunches at the conference, attendance at the Welcome Reception, the social excursion, and the Closing Banquet.
Delegates are eligible for the 'in training' rates if they are in full time ophthalmic training or a registered full time PhD student at a recognised University at the time of attending the meeting. Delegates wishing to avail of the in-training rate must submit a letter from their research advisor/supervisor confirming their training status at the time of the meeting.
The accompanying persons package includes the welcome reception, half-day tour, and closing banquet but does not include attendance at conference sessions or lunch/refreshments during the scientific meeting.
Late fees will apply after the deadline for early-bird registration has passed. To avoid disappointment, delegates are encouraged to register as soon as possible
All delegates, including IPS Travel Grant recipients, invited speakers, and accompanying persons must register for the meeting.
Registration fees do not include accommodation, travel, or the cost of the optional dinner. Shared places are not permitted. Payment must be received prior to the event. All registrations will be acknowledged. Please note that all payments must be made with a debit or credit card. We regret that we are unable to raise an invoice for registration fees or for the optional extras. If you have not received registration confirmation within 14 days prior to the conference, please contact us.
The organisers cannot accept liability for costs incurred in the event of the conference having to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Please note it will not be possible to change registration category or rate once registered.
